Pulses, Beats & Distortions.

Conceived as a series of sound paintings, GOMM is the product of BAG member Dan Allison. Texture, composition and an exploration of abstract spaces combine to form this document of process and environmental research.

The album journeys from slow and misty through rhythmic and hysterical whilst encouraging the listener to venture further into fogs, flashes, convulsions and vibrations.

GOMMs debut album features collaborations with former band mate, Dominic Beattie, on the agitated and improvised recording ‘Pure Concern’. BAG partner Jody DeSchutter colludes on ‘Soft Tissue (pt1)’ and ‘Foot Down’ where she offers her trademark Dada spoken word and abstract homemade instrumentals respectively.

The album was mixed and mastered by Holst who also collaborates on ‘Glass Teeth’, an exercise in push and pull, water and dam.
